Loaded gun found at Pittsburgh International Airport


A Pittsburgh woman is facing Federal penalties after she was caught with a loaded handgun at Pittsburgh International Airport.

The Transportation Security Administration found the loaded .380 caliber handgun during an x-ray at a security checkpoint Friday morning.

The woman was questioned by Allegheny County police.

So far this year, 18 handguns have been caught at the airport.

Last year, a total of 25 were caught.
