Lt. Gov. Fetterman to take part in 4/20 rally in Harrisburg

'Ask a younger person what's easier to get, a bottle of jack or a bag of weed?'

PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) - Today is 4/20, the unofficial holiday for cannabis. Lt. Gov. John Fetterman, who's been canvassing the state, will join demonstrators for a march in support of the legalization of recreational marijuana.

The Lt. Gov. told Larry and Kevin on Newsradio KDKA that while he doesn't use pot himself, he believes adults in Pennsylvania should be able to.

"Certainly my critics will imply that I'm just some stoner, or like Jeff Spicoli, of course I don't use it. But I think every adult over 21 in Pennsylvania should be able to use it safely, legally, without criminal consequence," Fetterman said.

The march starts at 11:30 a.m. in the State Capitol.
