A man and a woman were shot to death Thursday night in Garfield.
Police responding to calls about a traffic accident around 8 p.m. found the pair inside a car that crashed into an SUV in the 5200 block of Dearborn Street.
Officers say both victims were shot in the head and they also found a 2-year-old toddler inside the vehicle.
The child was unharmed and taken to Children's Hospital as a precaution.
Police say the shooting took place inside the car and say someone may have seen a suspect leaving the area.
