A man is in custody after a stabbing early this morning on the South Side Slopes.
Police say it happened before 1:30 a.m. at the Carson Towers apartments in the 2100 block of East Carson Street.
The victim has cuts to his face and hands and was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
The victim also told police that the man that attacked him, who was still on the scene when police arrived, attacked with a "serrated knife."
The man arrested, Identified as 37-year-old Darrell Darden, is charged with attempted homicide and aggravated assault.
