A man has been found to be manufacturing meth and dumping chemical waste at several sites in rural Indiana County and has been charged accordingly.
State Police say a Walmart receipt for Sudafed found at one dumpsite led them to 38-year-old David Burk.
The first dump site was found all the way back in 2019 in Buffington Township. They would go on to find four more of the dumps over the next three years.
The method which was used to dispose of materials was the way police were able to connect all of the sites.
One-pot vessels and acid generators would be packaged in a garbage bag together, the unique method and way they were disposed also helped the police determine the connection.
Burk is facing five felony and three misdemeanor counts related to operating a meth lab. He was arraigned Thursday and released on a $500 unsecured bail. His preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 18.
