Police say a 60-year-old man is dead after a moped accident Thursday morning on the Bloomfield Bridge.
Investigators say the driver lost control around 6:30 p.m. this morning while heading towards Bigelow Boulevard and was thrown over the divider into the inbound lanes.
The victim was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
No word yet on his name.
