A man was rushed to a hospital in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle on East Carson Street.
The incident happened around 2:15 a.m. Monday morning.
Police responding to a report of shots fired in the area found the man who was run over near 10th Street and Carson
The driver involved left the scene, hitting a parked car in the process.
That vehicle was found a short time later with a person being taken into custody for questioning.
