Allegheny County Police are investigating the shooting death of a man in Trafford.
Westmoreland County 9-1-1 received the initial call just after 6am Thursday morning about gunshots being heard in the 500 block of Fifth Street Extension in Trafford.
Trafford officers found a man with multiple gunshot wounds.
The 27-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. Allegheny county Police took over the investigation after it was realized that the location of the incident is in Allegheny County. Westmoreland County police assisted at the scene.
Late Thursday night, police said they arrested 20-year-old Jesse Chaz Parks of Verona, who they believe is the shooter. He is being charged with criminal homicide, tampering with evidence, and receiving stolen property.
