A shooting in the early hours of Monday orning in the Hill District sent one man to a local hospital.
Officers were called to a building on the 400 block of Heldman Street around 2:30am Monday morning where they found a man with a gunshot wound to the chest.
The man was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.
Monday afternoon police identified 40-year-old Renato Shealey of Mt. Oliver as a man wanted in connection with the shooting.
According to police, Shealey is facing charges of attempted homicide, aggravated assault, robbery and firearms violations.
He was taken into police custody Monday night.
