A search is underway for a fugitive in Allegheny County wanted in a shooting in McKees Rocks.
21-year-old Taelaun Claybourne fled from officials Friday morning in the Broadway Avenue area of McKees Rocks after police attempted to place him into custody.
He was last seen wearing no shirt and dark-colored pants.
On May 29, 2022 at approximately 4:46 a.m., two adult victims were shot in the 20 block of Locust St in the Hays Manor Housing Complex.
Throughout the investigation, officials determined Claybourne was responsible for the shooting and is facing charges of criminal attempt homicide, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and firearms related offenses.
He is a former felon who is not allowed to possess a firearm.
If you see Claybourne, officials advise the community to call 9-1-1.
