The man who died after a police shooting in the Hill District has been identified.
The Medical Examiner's Office says it was 33-year-old Maurice Jones.
He was fatally wounded Wednesday night in the 100 block of Hyman Place.
Police responding to reports of a man with a gun say Jones was shot by an officer after he disobeyed orders to drop the weapon.
