A picture of released Russian prisoner Marc Fogel holding a can of Iron City Beer at the White House is going viral.
The President of Iron City Beer, Todd Zwicker, says he's excited to see Marc back home and it's even more exciting to see him with a can of iron city beer.
“We’ve always stated that our brand is more grassroots, more community, more kind of family-oriented social and I think, that’s probably what he was exactly after, when he had one, just wanted to get back to his roots,” said Zwicker.
Zwicker says he's open to having a celebration for Fogel in the future.
“We have a concert series that we would definitely like to offer him, to come to some of our shows,” said Zwicker. “So yes, we would like that, very much so, to have him come down and be part of the family here.”
As for how he got the can, Zwicker isn’t quite sure but they take a lot of pride in the can being a prominent part of Fogel’s return.
Oakmont Bakery has also created cookies, celebrating Fogel's return home.
