McDonald's may be known for their fast food, but they're also serving up support for local teachers.
That support comes in the form of MAC Grants designed to help middle school teachers Make Activities Count for students.
The program helps teachers supplement classroom activities that may otherwise not happen due to budgetary constraints.
Teachers of grades 5-8 can apply for grants of up to $500.
The grant program is open to teachers in the following western Pennsylvania counties: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Bedford, Blair, Butler, Cambria, Centre, Clarion, Clearfield, Crawford, Elk, Erie, Fayette, Greene, Huntington, Indiana, Lawrence, Somerset, Venango, Warren, Washington and Westmoreland
Additionally, McDonald's is making the grants available to teachers in select counties in Maryland, Ohio and West Virginia. See the full list of counties here.
Teacher can submit an application at macgrants.com.
