The Weather Service says it is receiving reports from across western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio of a loud boom and a fireball in the sky.
NWS Pittsburgh says satellite data suggests it was possibly a meteor entering the atmosphere.
The Weather Service then posted video from one of its employees of the meteor streaking across the Pittsburgh sky.
The meteor traveled east, reportedly landing in the Cleveland area.
No injuries have been reported.
