A Monroeville man has been indicted for a federal firearms violation.
Acting U.S. Attorney Stephen Kaufman the indictment against 39-year-old Douglas Wright was returned on May 19, but unsealed on Friday, May 28.
Wright has been charged for possessing three guns and ammunition. Federal law prohibits anyone convicted of a felony from possessing guns or ammunition. The indictment shows Wright has multiple felony convictions.
If convicted on this latest charge, Wright could spend up to 10 years in prison, be fined $250,000 or both.
