More free COVID testing sites coming Monday

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio KDKA) — The Allegheny County Health Department is bringing back two familiar testing sites Monday.

The first will be held at the Tarentum 1st United Presbyterian Church on 913 Lock St.

The Health Department has been offering the free tests at half a dozen or so various locations throughout Pittsburgh.

The Tarentum location has been a mainstay since the sites began popping up in recent months.

And this time, the Tarentum test site will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, May 24.

In addition to Tarentum, another free testing site will be returning to Allison Park.

It will once again be located in the North Park Pool parking lot on South Ridge Drive.

The Allison Park pop-up site will also be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday.

As a reminder, the testing sites are for walk-ups only.

No drive-thru options will be available.

The tests are free, even for patrons without insurance.

Registering is requested but not mandatory.

For those who do want to reserve a slot, you can do so for either the Tarentum or Allison Park sites via Curative.
