With temperatures dropping to single digits this morning, more than 150 schools and organizations are going with delayed starts today.

As of 6:30 this morning, the number of West Penn Power customers without service has dropped from about 10-thousand to 6-thousand.
The current outages are in parts of Adams Township, Mars, Treesdale and Valencia. The utility is estimating service will be restored by 7:30 this morning.
Also, Duquesne Light has restored power to about 2-hundred customers in Cheswick and Rural Ridge.
CitiParks is activating five Healthy Active Living Centers as warming centers today from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. The locations are in Beechview, Greenfield, Homewood, Sheraden and the South Side.
