A major act coming to Pittsburgh has been forced to cancel the rest of his tour.
Morgan Wallen has announced that his One Night at a Time World Tour, coming to PNC Park on June 14 and 15 has been postponed.
Wallen announced on social media Tuesday that due to damaged vocal cords he needs to take six weeks off to rest.
He says he took 10 days off, then played three shows in Florida.
By the third show he said he felt “horrible.”
Doctors at Vanderbilt University say if Wallen does not take the time to heal now, he could permanently damage his voice.
Wallen’s tour was one of the biggest shows coming to Pittsburgh his year.
He had a record-breaking showing at Star Lake last year.
Wallen also says he won’t be able to play any of the festivals he was scheduled to and will also miss the ACM Awards.
We’ll have details on possible new show dates when they are released and on what will happen with those that already have tickets.
