An Indiana County mother is in jail, accused of smothering her 9-month-old son and trying to cover it up.
Police say they were called to an apartment in Indiana on January 6 for an unresponsive child. 21-year-old.
Patricia Hullenbaugh allegedly told police she put the baby down for a nap, and came back to find him hangout partially outside the crib with his face down on the mattress.
The baby was taken to the hospital where he later died.
However, police say Hullenbaugh later admitted to smothering the baby and staging the cover-up.
She was arrested Wednesday.
