A North Las Vegas man could spend the 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to traveling to Pittsburgh with the intent of having sex with a minor.
In early December of 2019, 31-year-old Renad Bautista traveled to Pittsburgh to meet with a minor that he'd been messaging on social media and engage in illicit sexual activity with the minor.
Sentencing in the case is scheduled for September 21, 2021 and if convicted, Bautista could get 30 years in prison, be fined $250,000 or both.
Acting U.S. Attorney Stephen Kaufman said the FBI and the West Mifflin Police Department conducted the investigation in the case.
