Cranberry Township supervisors named a new police chief last night.
Kenneth Ruckel's first day leading Cranberry Police will be December 1st.
Ruckel advanced from patrol officer with Allegheny County Police to detective, sergeant and lieutenant and was most recently division commander.
He's replacing the retiring Kevin Meyer.
