Expect to see lots of golf carts in and around the North Shore next week.
Golf carts will be in high demand during the NFL Draft, to accommodate the roughly 700,000 visitors expected over the three-day event.
Due to major road closures and the influx of people, these carts are expected to serve as a key, fast transportation method.
One provider, Gray Hare Express, is substantially increasing its fleet to handle the massive crowd.
“We have six carts in place that we usually run Pirate games, Steelers games, concerts and all that and we’re increasing our fleet to between 125 to 150 golf carts,” said Co-owner Shawn Gray.
Gray says normally the carts go for $10 a person...but they'll be hiking that up to $25 per person for rides during the Draft.
