Pennsylvania State police have charged an Irwin man of home improvement fraud.
In three separate criminal cases, 45-year-old Nolan Nichols, the owner of Nichols Pools, is accused of being hired to renovate or construct swimming pools but never completing the work.
In the latest case, a homeowner told police they hired Nichols in April to renovate an in-ground swimming pool and construct a pool deck for over $31,000 dollars.
Nicholas allegedly kept asking for more money, but never returned to complete the work, and ultimately abandoned the project.
