PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) A parking lot at an apartment complex in Penn Hills collapsed Tuesday night.
The collapse occurred on the 11000 block of Frankstown Road near the Penn Hills shopping center around 6:15 p.m.
No one was injured in the collapse and rescue crews checked the storage area underneath the lot to make sure no one was trapped.
About a dozen cars were damaged after falling about 15 feet and officials unsure what caused the incident.
Everyone in the 50 unit apartment building had to find other places to stay overnight with assistance from the American Red Cross.
