Man Sentenced to Federal Prison After North Apollo Bank Robbery

Bradley Mondi is scheduled to spend 57 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release

A Vandergrift man was sentenced in federal court Thursday after he was captured for a bank robbery. U.S. District Judge William S. Stickman IV ordered Bradley Mondi to spend 57 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release.

36-year-old Bradley Mondi robbed Apollo Trust Company Bank in North Apollo in July 2021. After the robbery, Mondi fled the bank on foot until he was spotted by Kiski Township police Officer Ron Baustert.

At the time of his arrest, Mondi walked had more than 66-hundred dollars from the bank.

Mondi is now set to spend his jail sentence in a federal jail.
