Police are investigating an armed robbery on the North Side early this morning.
It happened around 4:45 a.m. at the 7-Eleven on the 1000 of Western Avenue.
Employees told officers a man with a gun walked up to the counter and demanded the money in the cash register.
They couldn't open it and the man stole some items from the store and left through a back door.
