The Allegheny County Police Department has confirmed that its Homicide Unit responded to a request for assistance in regards to a vehicle striking a pedestrian on Route 28 near Exit 4 Etna.
First responders found an adult male deceased at the scene.
Preliminary information shows the victim jumped from a moving vehicle before he was struck.
All involved parties remain on the scene and are cooperating with the investigation.
