Pittsburgh Police were called to the 800 block of Brightridge Street in the City's Perry South neighborhood Wednesday night after receiving a Shotspotter alert around 9:30pm.
A man was found with a gunshot wound to the head and what appeared to be a puncture wound in his chest. He was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

Thursday morning, police say the man died at the hospital.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
