One person is dead and two others were shot in three separate shootings Monday evening.

A yet to be identified 38-year-old man was killed late last night in a shooting near Butler County Community College.


Police say it happened just after 10:30 p.m. at a home on Spooner Drive.

Several people were inside the house at the time.

27-year-old Nathan Michael is facing criminal homicide charges in connection with the shooting and police say more information will be released later today.

There were two other shootings Monday night.

About 20 minutes after the Butler County shooting, ShotSpotter alerted Pittsburgh Police to 11 rounds fired in Lincoln-Lemington-Belmar.

Officers found a man with a leg wound on a porch of a home in the 7200 block of Lemington Avenue.

He was sent to a hospital in stable condition.

The other shooting occurred around 11:15 in the City of Washington in the 500 block of Broad Street.

A man who'd been wounded was taken to a hospital, condition unknown.
