Pittsburgh-based 4moms is recalling more than 2-million infant rockers and swings after a baby died and another was injured.

The recall impacts the MamaRoo Baby Swings and RockaRoo Baby Rockers, which were sold at BuyBuy Baby and Target stores and online at 4moms.com and Amazon.

U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission spokeswoman Patty Davis explains the hazard.

"Infants can become entangled in the restraint strap that hangs below the seat and if an infant is crawling, they can get entangled in the straps, and it can strangle."

Parents of children able to crawl should immediately stop using these products and store them where infants and toddlers cannot find them. Parents are also advised to contact 4moms for a free strap fastener.
