PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) The candidates for Pennsylvania's open U.S. Senate seat campaigned over the weekend in southeastern PA.
Dr. Mehmet Oz and John Fetterman were targeting suburban voters with their recent rallies.
At a "Women for Fetterman" rally in Montgomery County, Fetterman introduced himself as John Fetterwoman, repeating his campaign pledge to vote for legislation to legalize abortion nationwide.
He told supporters "Women are the reason we can win" and he said Dr. Oz would be a rubber stamp for a nationwide abortion ban.
Dr. Oz held a rally Saturday in Bucks County, criticizing Fetterman again for agreeing to a debate but not a specific location or time.
Reuters reports five state Democratic Party officials interviewed in the past two weeks expressed worries about Fetterman's health and whether Republican attacks were swaying voters.
