Commonwealth seeking death penalty against alleged killer of Christina Spicuzza

According to a press release sent by District Attorney Stephen Zappala, the Commonwealth is going to seek the death penalty against Calvin Crew.

He is the accused killer of Uber driver Christina Spicuzza and is being charged with homicide, robbery, tampering with evidence and kidnapping. Police released dash cam footage during the opening hearing.


She did not return home on February 10th after making deliveries and Spicuzza's family reported her missing on one day later.

Her body was recovered in February by Monroeville Police.
First responders said she sustained a gunshot wound.
