Several schools in Westmoreland County received bomb threats via email this morning.
State Police say they don't believe the threats are credible, as similar incidents were also reported in other areas across Pennsylvania.
Explosives detection dogs were used within the Derry Area School District as part of the investigation.
State police say they're communicating with the Westmoreland Intermediate Unit.
School administrators are following their safety and security protocols.
Several other districts in the Pittsburgh area, across the state and country have also received threats over the past couple days.
