A woman is in serious condition after she was hit by a vehicle around 10 a.m. Friday morning at the intersection of Morewood Avenue and Fifth Avenue.
Pittsburgh Public Safety says she was crossing the street at a designated crosswalk and had the right-of-way when a driver tried to make a left turn on a green light.
The male driver stayed on the scene and cooperated with police. He was cited for not having insurance or registration and the vehicle was towed.
