Erin Skalde alleges John Donatelli sexually abused her on a 2018 road trip.

The lawsuit also contends baby Pens GM Bill Guerin mishandled the situation, telling her husband Jarrod to keep quiet about the incident.

In a statement released this morning, the Penguins say the team has agreed to settle all claims and hopes the resolution brings closure to the Skaldes.

“Upon receiving this report, the Penguins immediately conducted a thorough investigation and took prompt action,” the Penguins added. “Within a few days, the former coach who was alleged to have been involved in the incident departed from the organization.”
