A Pleasant Hills woman is under arrest charged with five counts of child pornography.
According to a criminal complaint, police say they were alerted to possible child pornography being shared from the social messing app KIK.
An investigation into Lauren Ciechalski found that according to police, she had more than 40 images of child pornography on her cell phone.
Ciechalski denied ever purposely searching for or sending explicit material involving children, and suggested she may have been hacked.
Ciechalski posted a $5,000 bond and has a preliminary hearing scheduled for August 5.
