UPDATE: The shooting lead to a police chase that went into Robinson Township.
Several people reported seeing a large number of emergency vehicles on the roads with some businesses reportedly being put on lockdown.
Allegheny County Police are investigating after someone was shot in McKees Rocks Thursday afternoon.
It happened just after 1:45 p.m. in the 100 block of Bell Avenue.
An adult victim was found with gun shot wounds to their hand and foot.
They were taken to the hospital in stable condition.
County police responded after a request for assistance by the Allegheny County Housing Authority Police.
