A photo of the popular Racer roller coaster at Kennywood has circulated on social media and has park-goers concerned for their safety.
The photo shows two concrete blocks holding up a part of the roller coaster's track.
KDKA Radio reached out to Kennywood for comment. This is what they said.
“The safety of our attractions is our top priority. All rides at the park are inspected daily by Pennsylvania-certified state inspectors before opening so that they may be enjoyed safely by all guests.”
The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture's Division of Amusement Rides and Attractions is responsible for those inspections.
Their website shows the Racer was last inspected on July 20.
The photo was shared to Facebook page oneBURGH and they say the photo was taken on Sunday, June 21.
