KDKA Radio’s Marty Griffin has obtained photos of the home where 63-year-old William Hardison had a shootout with police in Garfield on Wednesday.

The photos show just how many rounds of gunfire Hardison and police exchanged.

It’s estimated thousands of rounds were exchanged.

The photos are alarming and show bullet holes all over the walls, with some parts completely shot out all over the house, through a bed room, bathroom and living area with bullet holes seen in a television.

The Medical Examiner’s Office said Thursday that Hardison was fatally shot by police during the hours-long standoff.

It began originally when seven officers from the Allegheny County Sheriff’s office arrived at the home on Broad Street to serve an eviction notice.

As soon as officers breached the home, Hardison began to fire at officers.

Several homes nearby were also hit with gunfire.

The City of Pittsburgh says they will go to each home so claims can be filled to cover the cost of the damage.
