A Pittsburgh Coffee shop in Pittsburgh has been ordered closed after an inspection by the Allegheny County Health Department.
Inspectors say Azal Coffee on Murray Avenue in Squirrel Hills was operating without a valid health permit and failed to request a pre-opening inspection.
Also, unlabeled package food was found along with “inadequate temperature control procedures”, lack of cross-contamination prevention and handwashing procedures.
Leaking plumbing equipment was also observed along with “improperly stored toxics”.
Azal Coffee is at 2100 Murray Avenue is the former site of a Crazy Mocha coffee shop.
