PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) — Late Saturday night, members of Pittsburgh EMS, Fire Department, and Police arrived at the scene of a single-car crash on the 900 block of Saw Mill Boulevard.
First responders started arriving at the scene at around 11:20 p.m.
Upon their arrival, they found two female victims in the collision.
The vehicle had directly hit a utility pole.
One female victim was pronounced dead at the scene; the second victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
The Collision Investigation Unit was called in to process the scene.
Saw Mill Boulevard was closed off in both directions because of the accident.
