UPDATE: El Rincon Oaxaqueno has passed a follow-up inspection and can now reopen.

A mobile restaurant operating in lower Lawrenceville has been ordered closed by the Allegheny County Health Department.

El Rincon Oaxaqueno was ordered closed last Wednesday after an inspection.

The Health Department says that chicken in a cooler was temped at 43 degrees, Foods must be held at 41 or lower.

The mobile truck was also operating without a functioning water system.

That caused another violation, no available handwashing sink.

As of Monday morning, the closure is still active on the Health Department’s website.

A re-inspection is pending.
