An area in the Strip District is closed to traffic after a large sink hole opened on Monday.
Allegheny County says that the sinkhole is at the intersection of 33rd Street and Smallman Street.
Crews say they are evaluating the situation and the area will be closed indefinitely.
KDKA-TV reports a forklift is in the sinkhole.
There is currently no timeframe on when the road will be able to reopen.
