The Pittsburgh playhouse was evacuated Friday night mid-performance due to a rapture fire sprinkler.
A Disney's Newsies performance was going on at Point Park University' Downtown campus when a piece of scenery fell on the stage and the sprinkler raptured, spraying water all over the stage and orchestra.
An emergency alarm went off causing the evacuation, one student was taken to the hospital for an injury and released later.
The performance wasn't resumed and the rest of the weekend's slate of shows were canceled as well.
University officials are conducting an investigation as to what caused the incident.
Refunds were granted for the show and the rest that were set for the weekend.
The musical was nominated for eight Tony Awards for the blockbuster Broadway version.
