Pittsburgh Police arrest 25-year-old woman on federal drug charges

PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) — Early Thursday morning, Pittsburgh Police Zone 5 detectives and SWAT operators served a search warrant at a residence in the 7100 block of Race Street.

At around 6 a.m., detectives and operators confiscated over 800 grams of cocaine, 100 gram of fentanyl, at least six bricks of heroin, and two stolen guns.

The 25-year-old Monique Matthews was arrested and taken to the Allegheny County Jail.

Matthews is facing federal charges for drug possession.
