PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) It was announced Thursday that a Pittsburgh resident has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for his conviction for drug trafficking.
Following the 10 year sentence, a five year supervised release will be implemented.
41-year-old Doug Austen of Carrick has been given 10 years in prison for trafficking in the counties of Jefferson, Clearfield, and Allegheny.
Austen was found to have sold pure methamphetamine.
A multi-agency investigation was conducted including the United State Postal Service, Homeland Security, the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police, and Pennsylvania State Police.
United States Attorney Cindy Chung announced the prosecution and commended the agencies for their work leading to the arrest.
