A restaurant in Pittsburgh has been ordered to close after failing to meet the minimum requirements following an inspection last month.
Masala House Indian Bistro on Baum Boulevard was hit with a Consumer Alert on November 19 after several issues were observed by inspectors, including a rodent and pest infestation.
During a re-inspection on Monday, Dead roaches and roach eggs were sound on a sheet tray in the kitchen, a bag of peas was ripped open by rodents and rodent droppings were found in several areas around the restaurant.
Nesting material was also found in the oven in the kitchen and next to a restroom.
