PITTSBURGH (Newsradio KDKA) - Pittsburgh's Labor Day Parade, one of the biggest in the country, was cancelled in 2020 due to Covid-19.
"Last year you know, was one of the toughest decisions we ever had to make, but it was the right one," said Darrin Kelly, president of the Allegheny-Fayette Central Labor Council. "And we are honored to say we are back."
More details will be released in the weeks ahead, but Kelly expects some national guests to be in attendance.
"Organized labor has such an identity with the city of Pittsburgh and we're so proud of heritage, and we're so proud of being part of our community," Kelly said.
