The first of several city events is happening today to welcome workers back to downtown.
Pittsburgh Opens events are scheduled over the next six months, and include food, drinks and entertainment.
Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership's Jeremy Waldrup says they are seeing many return to work.
"People are definitely starting to come back to the office. We are growing, between 5-7% every month, but we're ways away from where we were pre-pandemic."
Thursday's event at US Steel Plaza runs from 11:30 to 1:30 and again from 4:30 to 7:30. It features a craft beer garden, artisan cocktails and made-to-order food. There's also a Penguins rally taking place as well.
