Another delivery driver was the target of a carjacking early today in Homewood. Pittsburgh Police say it happened before 1 a.m. in the 6900 block of Frankstown Avenue.
The victim told officers he arrived to deliver a pizza when two men assaulted him before taking off with his vehicle.
Medics reportedly checked the victim at the scene for injuries he got from the assault, but gave no further details.
There is currently no word on if this theft is related to the more than dozen recently reported carjackings.
Wilkinsburg Police said just last week there are six juveniles that they believe are targeting delivery drivers and involved in several incidents in the greater Pittsburgh area.
If you are a delivery driver in the area, proceed with caution as the city has been seeing a spike in carjacking activity in the past few months.
